The History of Thoiry’s Maze :

Paul and Annabelle de La Panouse with the English maze designer Adrian Fisher (creator of some 400 labyrinths around the world) have imagined and built the world’s first interactive maze. Thoiry’s labyrinth, inspired by the Renaissance initiatic masterpiece « The Dream of Polyphilis » is the symbiosis between the Golden Mean used in Thoiry Castle’s esoteric architecture and the ancient myths utilizing animal symbolism.
